Our Process
Working with myProject Price is a collaboration where we work together to produce the best outcome for our builders.
We work with builders all over the country in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart & Darwin.
We look forward to becoming your estimating partner.
The Preliminary Cost Estimate
The Preliminary Cost Estimate is a simple estimate with enough detail to provide useful cost advice for your clients as well as a tool to help ensure your clients are serious about building with you and not just wasting your time for a ‘price check’.
The first step it to:
- Get in touch with myProject Price via the contact us form and we’ll get in touch to have a chat about your project.
- From there we’ll organise an online meeting to exchange questions and go through your project in detail.
- myProject Price will begin working on the estimate and let you know when it is completed. If there’s any questions along the way we’ll be in touch.
- We’ll meet online again to make sure you have a good understanding of your project and are comfortable presenting it to your clients.
If required, myProject Price will prepare a revision based on feedback from your meeting, we’ll get this back to you straight away so you can strike while the iron is hot!
From there, it’ll be up to you the builder to follow up your client to chase them to proceed to the next stage. Once your client has given the go ahead, come back to myProject Price to proceed with The Full Tender Estimate & BOQ.
The Full Tender Estimate & BOQ
You might be ready to jump straight into the Full Tender Estimate & BOQ or you could be proceeding further beyond the Preliminary Cost Estimate. Either way, the Full Tender Estimate is a step closer to signing a profitable building contract.
Once you’re ready to get started the next steps will be;
- Send through your project documentation, at a minimum we’ll need engineering & working drawings. We’ll also need contacts for your preferred trades and suppliers.
- myProject Price will begin working on the estimate and let you know when it is completed. If there’s any questions along the way we’ll be in touch.
- After we’ve met to discuss the estimate, we’ll prepare any revisions needed and we’ll also work out a way that is best to present to your clients.
- Once this is completed we’ll meet again to go through the final items with the goal to have you ready to present to your clients as one of the last steps before signing your contract.
- If any cost revisions are needed we will get back to you with this quickly.
- We’ll then share everything you need from us including your trade quotes.
You’ll then be ready to get started on site and we will work hard to ensure that you are ready for your project to be delivered.
